Donsuemor Cute Cakes are adorable bite-sized mini cakes — little treats with big flavors. Inspired by the marriage of cupcakes and petits fours, Cute Cakes are delightful, yummy and fun to eat. Cute Cakes are soft and moist, made with the finest quality all natural ingredients, each decorated by hand with alternating dip and drizzle, and then sprinkled with colorful sparkling sugar.
Donsuemor Cute Cakes have our signature quality of delicious baked goods and meet our highest standards. Cute Cakes origin is a comingling of two favorite comfort desserts — a cupcake and petits fours. Our French pastry chef was intrigued by an American favorite — the cupcake. Thinking back to his French origins and the French bite sized dessert of petits fours, the idea bloomed to marry these iconic desserts. After some creative thought and baking, he presented these newly developed mini cakes to the entire Donsuemor team. Susie Morris, the creator of our signature madeleines, charmed by the creation, was immediately inspired to call them Cute Cakes. Available in April 2010, Donsuemor’s tradition of making delicious, unique baked goods that surprise and delight continues with our new Cute Cakes.

History of Cupcakes

They are truly an American icon.
History of Petits Fours
Petits Fours are elegant bite sized desserts served with coffee at dessert in France. Petits Fours can be anything from tiny éclairs to the more American tiny, bite-sized, iced layer cakes that you might find at showers or weddings.
